Create Your Healing Bath Ritual

Baths are my ultimate form of self care and relaxation.

One of my most favourite rituals is incorporating Epsom Salts and Pink Himalayan salts into my bath time.  These are  known as  "detox baths", and have definitely supported my body in managing stress, gently detoxing my body, and supporting healthy magnesium levels. 

I also add essential oils, which are a huge part of how I take care of my wellbeing emotionally and physically because they help me calm down, they ground me and help me deal with stress better. 


What You Need To Create Your Own Detox Bath Ritual

1 ½ cup of unscented Epsom salts

1 cup of pink Himalayan salt crystals
 
5-8 drops of Essential Oil

How To: 

1| Mix your Epsom salts and Pink Himalayan salts together

2| Add in your favorite essential oil or combination of essential oils.

3| Run your bath, pour in your salt and oil combo, then jump in and relax as you soak for a good 30 minutes. 

My favourite essential oil combinations for bath time include:

::  Grapefruit and lime: 3 drops each
::  Eucalyptus and grapefruit : 3 drops each
::  Sandalwood and geranium: 3 drops each
::  Vetiver and sandalwood: 3  drops each

I am really enjoying Lavender and pink pepper and Geranium and pink pepper as well.  Also in the experimenting pipeline is geranium and arborvitae and vetiver and ylang ylang. 

Feel free to have a bath whenever you feel like it. In the morning works best to set the tone for your day while an evening bath is better suited to melt the stress of the day away and to prepare you for an evening of calm and rest.
